Spring Mice
3/10/2012 2:26:31 AM

The change of the season and the lovely weather seems to have increased mouse activity massively over the last week and a half.

With our own increase in activity as the weather improves we are more likely to encounter mice. We enter our sheds looking for tools to maintain the garden. The shed unopened for 3 months has become a perfect hidey hole for nesting mice. An extremely common problem.

The spring cleaning starts. Cupboards are stripped, clutter is removed, general tidying takes place for the summer. Removal of items often will show evidence of mouse activity. Droppings, urine or gnawing. Phone Recourse to solve your problem.

Recourse Pest Control will eliminate mice on your property.

Recourse Pest Control is there to help you eliminate these pests in your premise, domestic, commercial or industrial. We can provide complete solutions for any pest problem. You may require a wasp nest removal in a nursing home, flea treatment in an office or a rat control solution for a recycling plant. We can offer you pest control services at the best possible prices.

BBC Bedbug article

An article from the BBC, September 2010.

"Night night, sleep tight, don't let the bedbugs bite…" It's long been a favourite rhyme to send children off to sleep. But with experts warning of a worldwide bedbug pandemic, will any of us be able to sleep once we've turned out the light, asks Tom de Castella.

PCP Survey
3/3/2012 3:46:23 AM

I was phoned by a company called PCP 2 weeks ago. They are conducting a nationwide survey and are phoning 300 professional pest controllers throughout the country.

30 or more questions were asked to find out if different species of pests had become more prevalent over the last couple of years. With particular interest in my views and opinions on the current bedbug crisis in the country and with the councils only collecting bins every other week.

Obviously all pest control companies have took more work from the plague of bedbugs that infests the country.

I'd imagine that there has also been more rodent and fly activity throughout the country due to the the bins being collected every other week. I certainly had many more call outs for flies. Rodent call outs were also slightly up in 2011. There is however the possibility that this was down to an increase in my advertising.

It'll be interesting to see the results of PCP's survey.
